Internet Safety Slide Videos (Tech):
The students go to Websafety 101 and choose the "Grades 6-8 Lessons". They will create a green screen video or podcast with their information. This is done as a jigsaw activity where student pairs work together to research a piece of the puzzle then share their projects with the class.

Touch of Reality (Career)
The students will go to Touch of Reality and begin a look into their future. They will research a career, find a high school, research college/vocational tech/military, buy a car, buy a house and balance a budget. Students will create a Google Slide for this. They will create a Google Sheet also.

Crime and Punishment
All Americans are guaranteed, by the Constitution, a fair and unbiased trial and are considered “innocent until proven guilty”. Students will research a famous trial. Go to the famous trials site and choose a trial. The final project is to be done in Padlet ( www.padlet.com ). Students will create a login, on Padlet, using their school district email (lunch#@philasd.org ) and school district password.
